Bulenox Qualification Option 1 vs Option 2

Compare Bulenox Qualification Option 1 and Option 2 by trailing versus EOD drawdown, daily loss limits, contracts and BULENOXMAX promotional price examples.

Quick answer

Option 1 uses a live trailing drawdown with no scaling plan, while Option 2 moves its drawdown at the end of the day and adds a scaling plan plus daily loss limits. Use BULENOXMAX as the primary code for either option.

Profit target, drawdown and contract limits

$100K $6,000 $3,000 12 $2,200 12
$150K $9,000 $4,500 15 $3,300 15

Both options keep the same nominal account sizes and profit targets. The important difference is how risk is measured while you trade. Read the drawdown guide for a deeper explanation.

A simple $50K example

A $50K Qualification account has a $2,500 drawdown amount. With Option 1, an initial illustrative threshold is $47,500. If the tracked high reaches $51,000, a live trailing calculation would place the threshold at $48,500. Giving profit back does not move that threshold down.

With Option 2, the threshold stays fixed during the trading day and is recalculated at the close from realized results. The $50K Option 2 account also carries a $1,100 daily loss limit. Bulenox describes that daily limit as pausing trading for the day rather than closing the account by itself.

Which option fits which priority?

Option 1 may fit when...

  • You want full contract capacity from the beginning rather than a scaling plan.
  • You do not want a separate daily loss-limit rule.
  • You are comfortable monitoring a threshold that can move with intraday highs.

Option 2 may fit when...

  • You prefer a drawdown threshold that remains fixed during each trading session.
  • You are comfortable with scaling and a daily loss limit.
  • You value end-of-day recalculation more than the larger Option 1 discount.
No universal winner: Option 1 has the larger displayed promotional discount, but a percentage should not override a risk model that does not fit how you trade.
