What a consistency rule measures
A payout consistency rule asks whether too much of the applicable profit came from one unusually large day. Missing the percentage is not described as a breach. The account can continue trading within all risk rules until more Total P&L brings the ratio into line.
The percentage depends on the payout path
| Path | Maximum best-day share | Calculation period |
|---|---|---|
| Fast Track payout 1 | 20% | Current payout cycle |
| Fast Track payout 2 | 25% | Current payout cycle |
| Fast Track payout 3 and later | 30% | Current payout cycle |
| Momentum | 35% | Current payout cycle |
| Traditional Master | 40% | Applicable payout cycle; Best Day P&L and Total P&L reset after an approved payout |

How to calculate a 35% best-day ratio
For a 35% limit, the ratio must be 35% or less. You can calculate the required Total P&L by dividing the best day by 0.35.
Two illustrative Momentum examples
| Best day | Total P&L | Best-day share | 35% result | Total needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $1,000 | $3,200 | 31.25% | Within 35% | $2,857.14 |
| $1,400 | $3,500 | 40.00% | Not yet within 35% | $4,000.00 |
A $1,400 best day divided by $3,500 Total P&L equals 40%. The same best day needs $4,000 Total P&L to equal 35%, which is another $500 of net profit if the best day does not increase.
